Hand Printed Muumuu

This patchwork muumuu will raise your style vibe with two of my unique prints in one dress. A combination of hand painting, mono printing and silkscreen dance across soft, organic cotton. Easy fit with a built in cinch straps to create optional shaping at the bust line. Two large, exterior side pockets. Fits approx Ladies size 8-14. Cold wash, like colors, hang dry.

Hand printed textiles wash & wear beautifully over time creating a vintage, sun washed look. Here are a few things to know about handling hand printed textiles: There will be a slightly slimy feel to the print after the first few washes which is totally normal and will go away once the print medium has settled in. You may also see some slight weathering to the print at the folds and edges. This is also normal and quickly elevates this garment to “favorite blue jean” status without the years of wear it normally takes to get there. These characteristics are part of what differentiates small batch, hand printed textiles from mass printed textiles and part of what makes my muumuus exceptionally unique, one-of-a-kind wearable pieces of art.

One last tid-bit: This piece is printed on 100% organic cotton which means it has no stretch, however, the hand and the weight of this fabric is so wonderful that you will not miss the stretch. No need for a slip or complicated undergarments.
